Install UET tag on your website via Signal (previously BrightTag)
If you are new to Signal or wish to learn more about it, please visit Sigal website.
Please do a view source of this webpage to see how on this page we have installed the Signal tag on this webpage. Here is more info on how to do view source of a webpage.
Go to this document for details on how we set up a Signal account for installing UET tag on this webpage.
As your webpage loads, it will trigger the Signal tag to fire, that in turn returns the UET tag back to the browser. When the UET tag is loaded by the browser, the relevant HTTP requests are made. The most important of these is the request to bat.bing that looks like http://bat.bing.com/action/0?ti=.... This request is what tells Bing ads about user visit to your webpage. FYI you may use tools like Fiddler to monitor all the requests that your browser is making when your webpage loads.
We currently do not support reporting UET custom events and variable revenue from Signal.
Note: We are not subject matter experts on Signal. This webpage shows how to do a basic set up of UET with Siganl. Signal offers several advanced features as part of their product to customize when and how your tags (including UET) are fired. Please reach out to Siganl support at support@Signal.co if you run into issues when using those capabilities.
Please refer to Bing Ads help documentation for more info on UET and why it is important for Conversion Tracking and Remarketing in Bing Ads.
